PATAS Story
ACP Kalyan Sinha (Kalyan Ram) is recently transformed from the forest to Hyderabad.
Patas movie starts with Sai kumar (kalyan’s father) who plays DGP ordering to arrest the villain GK (Asutosh Rana), but the engineer who complains against him dies in a road accident and the police officer who is supposed to arrest GK is suspended.
ACP Kalyan Sinha, in the movie Patas, is very fond of corruption and instructs all his subordinates to earn money by being more corrupted.
He joins hands with GK intentionally as DGP Sai kumar is against the villain.
Basically, the hero hates his father Sai Kumar as the hero’s childhood is neglected by his father due to his busy schedule being a police officer.
Meanwhile, the ACP sees the heroine Mahathi (Shruthi Sodhi) who and falls in love with her.
A girl named Kavya, an orphan who is deaf and dumb, meets ACP Kalyan Sinha and during their course of interaction, the ACP accepts her as his sister.
M.S. Narayana took the role of Tsunami star and creates lots of fun in the movie. Other actors like Prudhvi and Karri Seenu are quite entertaining uttering the lines of Bhagavat Gita.
Kalyan Ram’s different style of punishing the goons and politicians including the Tsunami star by taking them in 801 van ( reverse of 108) to the police station is very funny and exciting.
GK’s brother with his friends rapes a software girl and such an incident is seen by Kavya who later files a complaint on the guilty.
GK kills Kavya for her helping hand to the raped victim. This tragic incident changes the attitude of ACP Kalyan Sinha and he turns in to an honest police officer.
Now, he joins his father fighting against the villain in this issue.
Finally, its all about how Kalyan Ram fights and challenges with the villain and how he kills both the villain GK and his brother. Sai kumar losing his life to save justice gives honour to his position.

PATAS movie actors’ performances
Kalyan Ram is excellemt in his role acting ferociously in some parts which brings real life appearance.

Over violence was shown in the movie which includes unnecessary fights and the brutality In killing the deaf and dumb girl was really painful and annoying.
The basic story was nothing different but a routine story with different taking by the director.
It seems that the director has followed the saying, “Winners don’t do different things but they do things differently” and has been successful.
Shruthi Sodhi playing the lady love beside Kalyan is not apt. She has nothing to do in the film except joining with Kalyan Ram for songs.
